Laura

I became interested in working in the horse industry simply because I love horses, learning and sharing my knowledge with others.  Coaching seemed like a natural fit for me.

After my coaching certification I began teaching full time at a busy riding school, I also taught and trained horses for clients on a freelance basis.  For me, the best part is to see a horse and rider develop as a team.  Our horses have so much to teach us!  I believe in a positive approach to coaching - for both horse and rider.

I  have been riding horses for over twenty years, and there isn't one day that goes by that I don't learn something new!

Jake
Jake is what makes Eagle Valley go round!  He does all of the maintenance, grounds keeping and even finds time to build fences, run in sheds, and upgrade our facility.

Having studied horticulture at the University of Guelph’s Kemptville Campus, he also runs Eagle Valley Produce.  He attends a farmers market from May thru to the end of October.  Eagle Valley Produce grows delicious fresh veggies, herbs and even pumpkins and decorative gourds! Jake also does a lot of canning, making Relish, Pickles, Salsa, and lots more!  All of the above can be purchased at the farm as well as farm fresh eggs from our laying hens.
